Whether you're building a new home, buying off the plan, or moving into a newly purchased property, getting your air conditioning right from the start saves money and headaches down the track. Retrofitting ducted air conditioning after a home is built is significantly more expensive and disruptive than installing it during construction. And choosing the wrong split system for a room means years of inadequate comfort and inflated energy bills.
Gary works with homeowners at every stage — from pre-construction planning with your builder, to post-settlement installation in an existing home. He'll assess your floor plan, orientation, insulation, and lifestyle to recommend the most cost-effective system for your situation.

Ducted Air Conditioning
Best for: Larger homes, new builds, whole-home comfort
A single outdoor unit connects to concealed ductwork throughout the home, delivering conditioned air to every room through ceiling diffusers. Zoned systems let you control different areas independently. Ideal for new builds where ductwork can be installed before plasterboard.
Multi-Head Split System
Best for: Medium homes, targeted room control, retrofits
One outdoor unit connects to multiple indoor units in different rooms. Each room has its own controller and can be set independently. More flexible than ducted for existing homes, and more cost-effective for homes where only certain rooms need conditioning.
Single Split System
Best for: Apartments, single rooms, targeted areas
The most common and cost-effective solution for conditioning a single room or open-plan living area. Gary will size it correctly for the space and install it in the optimal position for even airflow.
Working with Your Builder
Gary regularly coordinates with builders and project managers on new construction projects. He can provide specifications and drawings for building approval, attend site meetings, and schedule installation to align with construction milestones — ensuring ductwork is installed before plasterboard and outdoor units are positioned before landscaping.
